Last year’s IARU ‘HF World Championship’ results released

The results of the 2004 IARU ‘HF World Championship’ have been released.

This is the contest in which, in addition to individual participation, national amateur radio societies compete with ‘Headquarters’ stations.

In 2004, the RSGB station GB5HQ came in fifth place, behind the German, Polish, Russian and French national societies.

Individual UK stations also figure prominently in the results, with ‘top ten’ finishes in their respective categories for MM3AWD, M5AAV, G3PJV, G3VAO, G3YMC, and G1W, operated by M0SDX
