Motorola to host “HSDPA Operator Clinic”
at 3GSM World Congress

Motorola Inc. today announced an offer for mobile operators to meet and view its High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) solution at 3GSM World Congress as part of its 'HSDPA Operator Clinic'.

Operators will have the opportunity to learn from Motorola's first hand experience in recent HSDPA trials and to gain an understanding of how to deploy HSDPA.

The clinic will include information on investment strategies for optimum rollout; business modeling and market segmentation (both enterprise and consumer markets). Operators will be shown what to expect from HSDPA performance both at launch and under load and which applications should exploit the strengths of HSDPA. Also, Motorola will help operators understand how they can drive revenues with HSDPA, how HSDPA compares with other radio technologies and why High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) is important.

Raghu Rau

"Motorola is at the forefront of the HSDPA market," said Raghu Rau, corporate vice president, global marketing and strategy, Motorola Networks "and today's announcement is yet another example of Motorola’s commitment to mobile operators as they assess HSDPA solutions and consider what impact it will have on their networks."

Operators wanting to set up a meeting with Motorola’s HSDPA Clinic should email: networksmktg.emea@motorola.com
