RSGB and RAEN hold Raynet liaison meeting

The RSGB's Radio Communications Voluntary Services (RCVS) National Coordinator, Paul Gaskell, G4MWO, recently met the Radio Amateurs' Emergency Network's Emergency Planning Team as part of the continuing liaison with the Network under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year.

A variety of topics of mutual interest were discussed, including core documentation and particularly joint responses to both the Spectrum Framework Review and the Civil Contingencies Act.

The responses to both documents will be available for download on the RSGB's Emercomms Webpages as soon as they are finalised, so that Raynet members have an opportunity to make any inputs into the documents before the deadlines of 15 February for the Spectrum Review and 3 March for the Civil Contingencies Act
