Expedition 12 back to regular activities after successful spacewalk

Expedition 12 Commander Bill McArthur and Flight Engineer Valery Tokarev have taken two off-duty days after the second spacewalk of their mission.

The spacewalkers deployed SuitSat, an old Russian spacesuit with an amateur radio transmitter. They also moved a Russian cargo boom adapter from one module to another, performed maintenance and retrieved experiments.

The crewmembers are back to regular activities as they return to their normal sleep schedule. McArthur and Tokarev continue to monitor science experiments and station hardware. Meanwhile, ground controllers review data accumulated after the crewmembers completed their spacewalk.

Commander Pavel Vinogradov and Flight Engineer Jeffrey Williams have been named to Expedition 13, the next crew to live and work aboard the International Space Station.
