Expedition 12 completes second spacewalk

Expedition 12 Commander Bill McArthur and Flight Engineer Valery Tokarev successfully completed the second spacewalk of their mission. The spacewalk ended Friday at 11:27 p.m. EST.

McArthur and Tokarev deployed SuitSat, an old Russian spacesuit with an amateur radio transmitter. They also moved a cargo boom adapter from one module to another, performed maintenance and retrieved experiments.

Commander Pavel Vinogradov and Flight Engineer Jeffrey Williams have been named to Expedition 13, the next crew to live and work aboard the International Space Station.
