Concern grows over Ofcom plans for radio mics

Radio Amateurs have suffered recently with Ofcom auctioning off the ITU agreed Amateur Satellite Service allocation at 10475-10500 MHz. Now it seems it's not just Radio Amateurs who are threatened by Ofcom sell-offs.

There has been great concern expressed about the impact of spectrum sell-offs on Radio Mics which are vital to Concerts, Sporting Events, Festivals and Theatre Shows etc.

Such is the concern that an E-petition has been started on the UK Governments 10 Downing Street website at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/PMSEspectrum/
