UK Amateur Radio Licences as at 31st January
2007
The UK regulator Ofcom have supplied the figures for the number of Amateur
Radio Licences issued as at 31st January 2007.
The figures show a small increase in all categories. This is to be expected
now that licences last for 5 years instead of 1 year. Any licences that
would ordinarily have lapsed during January due to the holder leaving
the hobby or dying will now continue to show in the figures for the next
five years.
