Amateur Radio in CEPT ECC Minutes

Amateur Radio was one of the topics in the minutes of the 13th Meeting of CEPT ECC Working Group RA held in Basel, Switzerland from 29th Jan to 1st Feb.

Item 7 in the minutes covers Amateur Radio matters. Among the topics covered are:

· T/R 61-01 - mention is made that the USA General licence is considered equivalent to the CEPT Novice radio amateur licence (ECC REC(05)06)

· Enforcement of Radio Amateur Regulations

· Results of the questionnaire on the implementation process of T/R 61-02

· 500 kHz band development

The minutes from meeting of the ECC WG RA can be downloaded from the European Radiocommunicatiions Office (ERO) website by the following procedure:

1) Go to http://www.ero.dk/
2) From the "ECC Activities" drop-down menu select "Meetings Documents"
3) Ignore the Username/Password fields they are not required
4) In the field "Select Group" choose "RA Working Group"
5) In the field "Select Year" choose "2008"
6) Click on "13th Basel"
7) Click on "Minutes and annexes"
8) Select the tick box for "DRAFT Minutes of 13th WGRA Meeting"
9) Click the "Download Selected" button at the top of the page

To see the documents that were submitted to the meeting click "Meeting Documents" select the tick box for the required document(s) then click the "Download Selected" button.
