GB7YD-2 2 meter repeater on air

The South Yorkshire Repeater Group are proud to announce that the first Dstar 2 meter repeater GB7YD-C in England went in to service at 17.45 on 15th February 2008.

It is running on low power with an assortment of cavities in both RX and TX lines. Reports are welcome.

Thanks to all who have given their time.

The repeater will go in to full service as soon as cavity parts arrive from TX/RX systems in the USA. These are currently awaiting customs clearance at Stansted Airport.
