GB7YD-B D-Star Repeater 70cm Node off air

The RSGB Emerging Technology Co-ordination Committee (ETCC) website reports that the 70cm D-Star repeater GB7YD-B has been removed from service.

The website says:
"Ernie G4LUE advises that GB7YD D-Star Digital Voice Repeater node -B (70cm) has been removed from service until an alternative frequency can be found."

The video, "D-STAR Problems on GB7YD" showing the interference problem on the input frequency, can be seen here.

Problems have been experienced at other D-Star 70 cm repeaters with an input on 433.9125 MHz.
Unfortunately this part of the Amateur Band was made licence exempt and is used by a large number of unlicenced devices for remote control and telemetry applications, for example automobile key fobs, door bells and data links for consumer weather stations.
