Ham Camp 2008 takes place in conjuction with Ham Radio 2008 in Friedrichshafen from 26-29th June.

From http://www.ham-camp.de/

After last year’s succes we host the youth camp called HAM CAMP this year again in conjunction with the HAM RADIO in Friedrichshafen from June, 26th to June, 29th 2008.

The HAM CAMP includes six tents for sleeping with ten beds each. The place for action, playing and resting and with the radio club station DAØHAMCAMP is in the hall A5 like last year. The HAM CAMP resides on the eastern part of the open air ground between the halls A5 and B3.
It is open for young people up to 27 years, children also with their parents or chaperons.

This year we host the stand of the former youth committee for building and soldering some electronic kits. Additionally we make some workshops for soldering SMD with normal equipment.

In the evenings, we take the time for building something like soldering some lightbulbs or play some games. Let’s see.

On Saturday evening, we will join the HAM Night.

The technical equipment of our radio club station DAØHAMCAMP is provided by OM Andi, DB8NI.

We have equipment for HF, especially 80/40 m, and a little station for UHF/VHF for the repeaters. The radio station is open over the day and in the evening. Please take a copy of your license with you.

This year we have an Inclusive-Package, including:

- 3 nights accomodation in the HAM CAMP
- 3-Day-Plaque for the HAM RADIO
- 3 breakfasts
- car park near the hall A5
all together for 39 Euro per person.
