Forthcoming Auction of 1452 - 1492 MHz

The UK regulator Ofcom has published the slides from the stakeholder event on the forthcoming award of spectrum at 1452 - 1492 MHz which cover the detailed award design and auction process.

The spectrum between 1452 and 1479.5 MHz will be packaged into 16 blocks (LA to LP) each of approximately 1.7 MHz and based on the Maastricht 2002 Special Arrangement as revised in Constanta in 2007.

The spectrum between 1479.5 and 1492 MHz will be packaged as a single 12.5 MHz block which called LQ.

There will be no initial right to transmit in the guard bands between the blocks.
