Astronaut Mike Fincke, KE5AIT, talks to 3 schools and a Princess in a single day

Commander Mike Fincke conducted a thorough inventory of the supplies and tools in the International Space Station’s Quest airlock that will be used by the STS-119 crew to conduct four spacewalks.

He then took time-out to talk to students from around the world on Wednesday. Using the station’s amateur radio equipment, Fincke answered questions from Australian, Italian and American students for about 30 minutes throughout the day.

During the Italian school contact, Mike also spoke to Princess Elettra Marconi, the daughter of the scientist who invented Radio.
