FCC revise Digital TV websiteThe United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have revised their Digital TV (DTV) website. The United States had planned to switch off all their old analog TV transmitters and switch-over to Digital TV on Feb 17, 2009, but this was delayed and the transition to all-digital broadcasts is now planned for June 12, 2009. The FCC has just issued a news release which says: The FCC has a newly revised DTV website. Go to http://www.dtv.gov/ to learn about DTV, check the status of your coupon application, and find helpful publications such as a troubleshooting guide that provides a converter box hook-up checklist and a guide that offers tips on the reception of digital signals. The newly revised website also offers DTV reception maps for your neighborhood. We also have 3 new publications relating to the DTV transition.
