Amateur Radio in Germany 2008There were 75,276 radio amateurs in Germany in 2008, 14 more than the year before, 2007. The German Net Agency and the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) have published their annual amateur radio statistics. Relating to this, 81,150 call signs were registered in Germany in total, about 230 more than 2007. On January 1, 2009 the DARC had 43,073 members in total, which is over 1100 less than the year before. The QSL section of the DARC handled about 4,93 million cards. More information also here.
