Dr. Hartmut 'Hal' Weber DJ7ST - Silent Key

Keen QRP Amateur Radio operator 'Hal' Weber, DJ7ST passed away on January 9.

The QRP Contest Community (QRPCC) website, which he founded, reports that he passed away on January 9 after falling ill with Leukaemia and fighting it in vain for over two years.

Hal activity promoted lower power (QRP) operation and he will be greatly missed.
