Students call space station with home-built radio

The Canadian paper The Globe and Mail carried a report on the recent contact between the Humber College Institute of Technology & Higher Learning and the International Space Station.

The story highlighted the fact that the Humber College students made contact with the International Space Station using an Amateur Radio system they had designed and built themselves.
