Request for reports of Kagayaki signalsAs yet nothing has been heard from the Kagayaki Amateur Radio satellite launched last month. It should be transmitting on 437.375 MHz. Kagayaki was launched along with four other Amateur Radio satellites on January 23. Masa JN1GKZ has posted the following request on the AMSAT Bulletin Board: KAGAYAKI command station and related stations are still looking for KAGAYAKI. KAGAYAKI was to transmit Morse code on FM after separation form H-2A but nothing heard until now. Object D is estimated as KAGAYAKI. Please watch KAGAYAKI and let me know if you heard her signal. I'll pass the info to command station. English web site is now available. Thank you for your help Masa JN1GKZ Tokyo Japan OBJECT D Keps 1 33495U 09002D 09036.75334341 -.00000021 00000-0 46489-5 0 433 2 33495 098.0277 148.2199 0008919 016.5422 343.6081 14.70127932 1978 Further information on the five Amateur Radio satellites launched last month can be found at Listen for new Sats using web receiver AMSAT Bulletin Board AMSAT-BB Five new Amateur Radio satellites
