21st Foundation Course successThe 21st Amateur Radio Foundation course run by the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) proved to be a great success. Eight candidates took the course and all passed with flying colours. What is more, all the candidates decided to proceed straight away with the Intermediate course starting in March.
This is the first time that CARS has had 100% of its Foundation candidates go straight to Intermediate filling all available places. They join 5 others who already had their name down for the Intermediate making a bumper class of 13, the largest Amateur Radio Intermediate class CARS will have taught. It is refreshing to see so many Foundation candidates keen to upgrade and a good sign for the future of the hobby.
