Essex Morse Course

A Morse code course will take place on Thursday evenings in Danbury near Chelmsford, Essex. All aspects of cw are covered from the beginner to the cw operator who wants to increase their skills.

Andy Kersey G0IBN will be starting the Morse classes on Thursday, February 11 at 7pm in the Danbury Village Hall, CM3 4NQ.

In addition to Morse, Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) members run courses at Danbury Village Hall for the Amateur Radio Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced exams.

Since the Essex CW Club was founded at the end of 2009 membership has grown rapidly and they now have over 85 members. The club call sign is G1FCW which is used on the 80m CW net held on 3540+/- at 1930 UK local time every first and third Wednesday. A 20m net takes place on 14045+/- at 1600 GMT every first and third Tuesday in the month. New call-ins are welcome.
