New Zealand's Radio Amateurs get 600m band

From March 1, 2010 Radio Amateurs in New Zealand can use the new 600m band, 505 kHz to 515 kHz.

The New Zealand regulator the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) has allocated 505 kHz to 515 kHz to the amateur service on a temporary basis until further notice.

The maximum permitted power is 25 watts eirp and the bandwidth of emissions used must not exceed 200 Hz.
