Space education through NanoSats and CubeSats

A YouTube video taken at IAC 2009 gives an overview of NanoSat and CubeSat developments in different countries and highlights the considerable educational benefits.

The 60th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) took place between 12 and 16 October 2009 in Daejeon, Republic of Korea and among the speakers were Radio Amateurs Martin Sweeting G3JYO and Roland Coelho WH7BE.

The construction of NanoSats and CubeSats gives students an experience of whole life cycle of space project within a short period of time, hands-on training for satellite design and integration, and a practical training for project management or team working.
