Amateur radio exam successes

Congratulations to three Macclesfield & District Amateur Radio Society (MDRS) members who have successfully joined the ranks of licensed radio amateurs. 

Tim Brown has gained callsign M6AMX and Ted Beever has been issued with M6DOP. 

Edward Parrish (18) requested a specific callsign - M6NSR - due to his other interest of railways, and his association with the North Staffordshire Railway. 

Edward is already very active in the SOTA - Summits on the Air programme, which encourages amateur radio operation from the summits of hills and mountains.
