TV News - Students work the radio dial to win a national contest

WDBJ7 TV news reports that the William Byrd High School amateur radio club, WB4HS, are attempting to repeat their success last October in winning the School Club Roundup Contest.

Schools, colleges and universities across the USA have been taking part in this contest that runs from February 13-17. The William Byrd High School amateur radio club WB4HS acheived first place in the Senior High category of last Octobers School Club Roundup (SCR) and are hoping to repeat their success this week. By Thursday they had notched up over 400 contacts.

During this week's contest the students at WB4HS were visited by the media and a report was broadcast on WDBJ7 TV.
