AX for Australia Day

Australian radio amateurs will once again be able to use the AX prefix to celebrate Australia Day on January 26 this year.

The AX prefix may be used in place of your normal VK prefix from 0001 hours to 2359 hours local time on January 26.

Happy Australia Day, but if you are going to use AX on the high frequency DX bands, give consideration to having an AX QSL card available.

March 1-31 will be the next time the AX prefix may be used by all Australian Radio Amateurs.
