Chelmsford Amateur in BBC Essex Interview

Following his successful Radio Caroline talk on the 3rd January at the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society, Carl Thomson G3PEM was invited to appear on the BBC Essex Drive Time radio show.

Carl G3PEM was Chief Radio Engineer onboard Radio Caroline in the mid 1960's.

This year is the 40th anniversary of Radio Caroline running aground on the Essex beach, an event Carl remembers well.

He will be interviewed live by Ray Clark at 18:30 on Thursday 19th January.
