Irish company buys two radio stations in Ukraine

Irish media group has completed the acquisition of two radio stations in the Ukraine - the national commercial network Nashe Radio and Radio Apelsin, a local station in Kiev.

Nashe Radio, which targets the 25-45 age group, is licensed to 2012 and has a monthly reach of 30%. Padio Apelsin is aimed mainly at a young audience.

Communicorp operates 31 stations in six countries. In Ireland, it has interests in Dublin's 98FM, Spin and Newstalk 106.
