PEARS National VHF/UHF Contest

The annual PEARS NATIONAL VHF/UHF Contest takes place on the weekend of 20-22 January.

This contest takes the form of two 24-hour periods, with the first session beginning at 18h00 on Friday 20th and ending at 18h00 on Saturday 21st. The second session begins at 18h01 on Saturday 21st and ends at 18h00 on Sunday 22 January.

There are six different categories, encompassing portable categories, fixed station categories, a digital category and a 2m FM-Only category.

There are a few minor changes in the rules this year, predominantly in connection with the portable categories. Full rules can be found on the PEARS website at www.qsl.net/zs2pe.
