Entries invited for Tinus Lange 7 066 Technical Excellence Award

Have you built something lately or written some software? Why not enter it for the Tinus Lange 7 066 Technical Excellence Award. There are two sections, a junior section for entrants under 25 years old and a senior section. The award is bestowed annually on the persons who submit a technical project in any of the following categories:

Design and/or construction of projects such as a pre-amp, SWR bridge, patching unit, automatic ID-er, practical antenna ideas, mast, portable gear, power supplies etc., or any software for use in Amateur Radio.

The submission must include the actual item (if size and mass allows it) or photographs and a complete write-up in article form with illustrations and pictures ready for publication in Radio ZS.

Entries should reach the NARC not later than the 28 February 2006. All entries will be displayed (where practical, otherwise photographs) at the AGM. The awards will be presented at the annual dinner. The winner in each category will receive R350 and a certificate.
