Romania and Bulgaria celebrate EU membership
Radio Amateurs in Romania and Bulgaria will be on-the-air to celebrate
their membership of the EU
Romania
On January 1st, 2007, Romania became a full member of the European Union,
and to commemorate this event, look for members of the Romania
Federation of Radio Amateurs on the air with the special event
callsign YR0UE until January 10th. Please QSL
(preferably) via the YO QSL Bureau (see QRZ.COM) to YO3KAA.
Bulgaria
Special callsign LZ2007EU will be aired from
the HQ of the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs
from January 1st until April 30th to celebrate the accession of Bulgaria
to the European Union. QSL via LZ1BJ (bureau preferred).
