New record on microwaves

WA1ZMS and W4WWQ established a new record when on the 10th December, they worked on 322 Ghz at a distance of 7.3 km, 4.53 miles.

They used slow FSK CW, the spectran programme, and traditional rf equipment.

They used apparatus that they had been previously used on 241/322/403 Ghz, harmonic mixers and 12-inch parabolic dishes, and increased their previous distance, which was 1.4 km or .87 miles.
