EME with 20 Watts

Following Monday's item on the radio amateur who communicated with an American ham via EME, using just 25 watts, Peter, I1PIK was prompted to email the following comment:

"It's not rare that someone achieves to have a Moon bounce contact with very low power: I had one with 20 Watt last year (an old FT737 R only). To explain the result, one must consider which was the corresponding station, the impressive 64 yagi array owned by SAM, RN6BN. I have his confirmation QSL in my hands. I belive that is not impossible for EVERY medium equipped amateur station to achieve the same result."

Peter, I1PIK
