II3NIK Special Event Station
Nike Hercules Memorial Year

The last symbol of Cold War left the launcher of an Italian Air Force base last November 24th 2006.

The Nike Hercules missile system was a Silent Guardian of the European N.A.T.O. skies and some Asian states for all of the second half of the last Century.

This special event station will be on the air until June, 30th 2008.

QRG: 80m/40m/30m/20mbands
Modes: SSB / CW / PSK31 mode.

All the contacts made with the II3NIK special event station will be confirmed via bureau or via direct to the address of the manager:

If you send your request via direct, please follow this checklist:

1) Ensure that the QSO information on your card is clear and correct;
2) Enclose a self-addressed envelope;
3) Enclose a sufficient fund to meet postage costs by airmail or surface mail as appropriate example: 2 USD or 1 Euro, please no expired IRC's! QSL received direct but without a self-addressed envelope or without sufficient return postage or expired IRC, will be confirmed via the bureau.
