Jochen Berns, DL1YBL, appointed as new VUS-Manager

Jochen Berns, DL1YBL, was appointed as new VUSHF-Manager on January 6 by the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club President Jochen Hindrichs, DL9KCX, and the Vice Presidents.

The nomination and appointment came after Hellmuth Fische, DF7VX, stepped down from this position on November 9, 2007.

Jochen Berns takes over from HF-Manager Ulrich Müller, DK4VW, who held this position provisionally until a new Committee Chairman was appointed.
