RAC needs input from Canadian DXersJohn Scott VE1JS of Sandy Cove, Nova Scotia is the Radio Amateurs of Canada's representative on ARRL's DX Advisory Committee. The committee is currently dealing with questions concerning remotely-operated stations, and whether such operations should count for the DXCC Award. John requires your opinion on the following questions: (1) Should QSOs made with these remote stations count for DXCC? (2) Is it necessary to require that operations from remote countries only use the receiver located at the remote location? What if the operator listens to a local receiver, or any other receiver, as well as the one located at the remote transmitting site? Please contact John at scotts@sandycove-ns.ca
for more details of the discussion, or to offer your opinion. Source: Radio Amateurs of Canada
