Camb-Hams to Harris

Following on from last year's successful Dxpedition to the Island of Mull the Camb-Hams are returning to the Scottish islands with 12 people this year in the form of the Camb-Hams trip to Harris from April 18th till April 25th 2009.

The format of the trip will be similar to last year with HF voice and data (most bands) being activated alongside 6m, 4m, 2m and possibly 70cm.

There will also be lots of portable operation around the islands (possible interest to WAB chasers) and 3 energetic climbers activating SOTA summits all week.

Basecamp is a holiday cottage on the East side of the island with a good view to EU and a reasonable path through the hills to USA, listen for the callsign GS3PYE/P
