CARS Foundation PowerPoints updated

The PowerPoints used on the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) Foundation course have been updated to reflect the syllabus changes that come into effect in June.

The Technical Basics section of the Foundation slides now covers Conductors and Insulators and also accounts for the new M6 callsign series. The new syllabus comes into effect on 1st June 2009 any exams held before then will still use the current syllabus.

CARS has developed PowerPoint slides for the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced courses and they are made available to the amateur community at large as a free download from their website.

They are intended to emphasise the key points in the syllabus and complement the 'Foundation Now' manual.
The slides were created in Powerpoint-97 and have been optimised for quick download speeds, maximum compatibility and include integrated animation for on screen use.
