Special Prefix HE8

Since January 1st, special prefixes HE8 and HB8 can be heard on air.

This is to celebrate the Swiss National Amateur Radio Society USKA's 80 year anniversary.

Swiss Radio Amateurs are entitled to change their prefix from HB9 (CEPT-class) to HE8 («Hotel Echo Eight») and from HB3 (CEPT Novice) to HB8 («Hotel Bravo Eight»).

This will continue until December 31st.
