More D-STAR on 10m and 6m ?On Thursday, we carried an item 'First D-STAR on 10m and 6m ?' which described what may have been one of the first transmissions of the Digital Voice mode D-STAR on the Amateur Radio 10m and 6m bands. However, Jaume, EA3FRB has contacted us to say: "Esta tarde, EA3EIS (JN11AL), EA3ANS y EA3DCM (JN11CJ) y EA3CNO
Google's translation produced this version in English. "This afternoon, EA3EIS (JN11AL) EA3ANS and EA3DCM (JN11CJ) and EA3CNO
(JN11BJ) have made a link in the band from 50 MHz, using the
D-Star form, the powers have been used in order to 5W
low gain antennas (vertical 1 / 4 wavelength). The signals have
been stable and free of noise.
After the test of 50 MHz, EA3ANS and EA3DCM been linked to EA3EIS
29 MHz (FM segment), also made a QSO with good signals.
Here I would encourage everyone to experiment with this fantastic
digital system which is the
