Amateur Radio regulatory changes in DenmarkDenmark has updated its regulations for visiting Radio Amateurs. The new Danish regulations apply to radio amateurs who wish to operate amateur radio stations during short stays in Denmark in accordance with CEPT recommendations There are 3 Amateur Radio licence categories in Denmark, Category A is equivalent to CEPT Radio Amateur Licence (T/R 61-01) Category B is equivalent to CEPT Novice Radio Amateur Licence ((05)06) Category D will probably be equivalent to the CEPT Entry Level Radio Amateur licence but that CEPT category is understood to be still at draft. The UK regulator Ofcom has not yet signed up to the CEPT Novice Radio Amateur licence (equivalent to UK Intermediate) so only UK Full licence holders are covered by a CEPT agreement. The new Danish regulations for visitors can be seen at A new regulatory notice for Danish Amateurs came into effect on Jan 1 and can be seen in Danish at: Experimenterende Danske Radioamatører (EDR) in Google English CEPT Recommendation T/R 61-01 Radio Amateur Licence ECC Recommendation (06)06 CEPT Novice Radio Amateur Licence CEPT Entry Level Radio Amateur Licence
