World Thinking Day on the Air

World Thinking Day on the Air (TDOTA) takes place on February 20-21 and this year UK amateur radio stations may use the special prefix GG100 in celebration of 100 years of Guiding.

TDOTA is an opportunity for the members of the Guide Association from the youngest Rainbow to the oldest Trefoil Guild member to talk to other members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world via Amateur Radio.

The first TDOTA (also known as Guides On The Air - GOTA) was held in 1985 to celebrate 75 years of Guiding in Canada, U.K, New Zealand, and Australia.
