GB80PW to get first outing this Thursday
 This special callsign GB80PW, issued to Practical Wireless magazine to celebrate the publication's 80th year in print, gets its first airing this Thursday, the 12th January.
PW editor, Rob Mannion, G3XFD says:
We'll be operating GB80PW from my own home station once a month throughout 2012, on the PW publication day - the 2nd Thursday of the month.
We're planning to be active between 10am clock time to 1600 hours.
Phil Ciotti G3XBZ and I will be the operators.
We'll be on 7MHz s.s.b and PSK31 mainly, with some operations on 14MHz s.s.b. and PSK31.
