Turkish Special Event Station
Members of the Special Wireless Activity
Team (TCSWAT) and the Giresun Radio Amateurs and Nature Sports Club (GITRAD), in collaboration with Turkish Society of Nephrology-Istanbul
Branch, will be on the air as TC2012WKD on March 8th.
Activity is taking
place on "World Kidney Day" to raise awareness of the importance of our
kidneys to our overall health, and to reduce the frequency and impact of
kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
Operations
will be on the HF bands using CW, SSB, BPSK31 and SSTV. Stations making
contacts on three or more bands or modes will receive a special award
via E-mail.
