Youngsters to get studio chance
The Keighley News reporting on a radio studio training opportunity for youngsters mentions they could also become radio hams.
The newspaper says:
Out-of-work teenagers will learn how to make their own radio programmes at a Keighley music studio. The course at Jam On Top will give the young people qualifications and help them find jobs in the broadcasting industry.
The 16-to-19-year-olds could also become “radio hams” by gaining a licence to transmit on amateur radio.
