1st International IRLP Contest 2005

A big thank you goes to VK3JBO, VK3KXW, and his team at Bass Amateur Radio IRLP Group, and to WB7OTQ, KG4ZXK and the team from the Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service for bringing IRLP into the spotlight and making it an international mode .

Now from 1/1/2006, CQ Magazine will will be offering an iDX award for working stations using IRLP and Echo, on the provision that one side of the link, at least, must be rf (ie: using a radio) to qualify the contact. This should also help the IRLP Contest to be even bigger in 2006.
