'Live8' and internet speeds

Thousands of people will be attending the forthcoming 'Live8' events across the country, but many more are expected to view and listen-in remotely from websites across the world.

BT have advised us that during the Live8 events, you may see slower download speeds and increased latency on your internet connection due to the volume of people attempting to use the shared network.

Things should return to normal once the event has ended.
