London Olympics 2012 - Special Event Stations

The following email received from the RSGB Amateur Radio Manager Sylvia Manco 2E1CYL regarding Special Event Station callsigns for the 2012 London Olympics.

London Olympics 2012 - Special Event Stations

A special event station callsign may be reserved up to six months in advance. However, as we are not authorized to issue a special event station callsign outside the normal format, it cannot be reserved.

Applications will be on a first come, first served basis and may be coordinated pending the popularity of the event.

Also, please bear in mind the privileges that we currently enjoy may change during 2005 and 2012.
