Alex Kearns named as new RadCom editor

Alex Kearns joins the RSGB as the new Editor of RadCom from European Semicoductor magazine, a trade publication whose website is http://www.eurosemi.eu.com/

He joined the EuroSemi team as it's Editor in Chief just before Christmas 2004.

His appointment marks the end of a tradition of the RadCom Editor being a licenced Radio Amateur although he is bound to be under pressure to get a Foundation licence very soon.

Prior to European Semiconductor Alex had been associated with EN the magazine for entrepreneurs, see http://www.entheweb.co.uk/

At 32, Alex will be one of the younger members of staff in RSGB HQ, but he brings with him considerable experience in trade publications. We hope he has a long and successfull tenure as RadCom Editor.
