Silicon city HAM MEET 2005 - Bangalore

It is proposed to conduct “SILICON CITY HAM MEET 2005” at Bangalore on Sunday, 9th October 2005 at Shri Jagdaguru Renukacharya College (SJRC), Ananda Rao Circle, Near Majestic /City Railway Station, Bangalore. Meet Focuses on creating awareness about amateur radio and to have fellowship of all the Hams and SWLS.

We have chalked out few programs well before the Silicon City Ham Meet 2005:

SILICON CITY HAM MEET 2005: One day convention – Technical Session – Preparedness programme on Emergency Communication Net work – Ham Radio Exhibition on related activities, equipments, accessories etc. – Fellowship of participating Hams – Presentation of Awards and certificates – Auction sale of used Ham equipments & Accessories, components, valves, antennas etc.

Participation fee if confirmed on or before 30th September 2005 will be Rs.50/- otherwise it will be Rs.75/- payable by cash or cheque favouring Indian Institute of Hams, PB No.1927, Bangalore-560 019. or by money order to Mr G.Varadarajan, VU3ITI No.19, V.R.Layout, Sarakki Road, J.P.Nagar Po, Bangalore-560 078 Phone: 080-26346684.

Exhibition: Non-Commercial exhibits related to communication will be free, Commercial exhibits nominal charges will be levied. Participations / Exhibitors should intimate the organizers on or before 30th September 2005. Exhibition will be open for Students / General Public at least 25 schools will be visiting the exhibition. Ham Radio station on HF and VHF, Echolink will be active through out the day.
