AO-51 FM Voice Transponder
available from Friday

AMSAT have announced that the FM voice repeater on Oscar-51 will be available from Friday.

This co-incides with the opening of the AMSAT-UK Space 2004 event at the University of Surrey in Guildford. Those attending the event will have a special presentation on AO51 (Echo) on Saturday morning.

The RSGB GB4FUN van will be at the event from Friday to Sunday so listen out for GB4FUN calling through AO51 (Echo).

The AMSAT News bulletin has details on how to access the satellite. The signals from AO-51 are very strong.
